[A/S] Re: Electric Tow Dollies?
Thanks to all who replied, both on and off list. I have narrowed the
list to two choices, both expensive, $1000. Both have a thirty day
money back guarantee. Power Mover and Power Caster are the best
choices I've found so far, both sales departments claim superiority,
so it looks like a coin flip. Both have brake controllers and will
tow 10K with 750lbs tongue weight. A little overkill, but I have a
slight grade up to the pad, but all paved and smooth. The
configuration of the yard requires that the trailer goes in tongue
first so I have to pull it in. Both say they are more effecient
pushing than pulling. I pay $800 a year for storage and have been
vandalized three times in the past year, I'm still opening the door
with a screwdriver. While they will pay for the damage, it has been
quite inconvenient, I hate to see my baby damaged. The pad is ready,
the cover is up so all I need to do is order the dolly. Still not an
easy choice, but today is the day. I will keep you posted.
