Yes, it can be painted over but, and this is very important, follow the
directions on the can.  As I remember them, the overcoat has to go on before
the TrailerCoat sets up completely.  You need to "attach" the top coat to
that primer to achieve the best results.

On second thought, a silver truck pulling a silver sausage might just put
you in a "high stylish league". :-)
