most vehicle front ends have week springs and really cannot handle 800 -
1,000lbs of weight.  you have to have a wheel to put on the bottom of the
trailer jack to take weight off the front receiver.
I have just ordered a front receiver for my E350PSD as I like the one on my
suburban so much.  it was really hard to find the metal wheel for the front
jack.  most of these are synthetic of some sort and just are not designed for
that much weight.
