My couch was gone. I built a platform out of 1x3"s and Luan, and got a
very comfy single futon with lots of foam. I had to cut the foam to fit
the curve behind, and it has since been covered with fake leather. I
build end tables out of luan too. if you take off the bolsters and
pillows it is a slightly narrow single bed. but is is very comfy for
sitting and napping and vegeing out.
