[A/S] CB install location, etc.

Hi Hunter and Maurice,

I've yet to decide on a CB, yet feel that it would be very useful at times.
I used the cubby hole to mount my brake controller, so mounting the in that
location is not practical for me.  I've often thought that I need a consul
on the drive hump rather than keeping a plastic box with a snap lid to keep
my cell phone, maps, logs, snacks in place.  Usually, I have one of those
small folding 6 pak coolers on the floor.  Can't go far without a caffeine
fix or just plain liquid.

Another location that I actually prefer for a CB is over head.  Most under
dash locations point the speaker in the wrong direction or cover it so the
sound .  .  .  Well, maybe I should be using a head set.  On the other hand,
my wife doesn't ride with me often and my dog(s) don't mind the noise! :)
Don't know if over head is an option with my Ford.

Possibly you have experience with the over head /consul locations I'm
thinking about?
