When we first started fulltiming in 1978 in a motorhome, we were advised to
NEVER put any grease down the grey tank drain.  We wiped off all the grease
from dishes, pots, skillets OR used plastic dish pans that fit the sink and
then empty the greasy water into the black tank, thru the toilet.
We still wipe off all grease with paper towels or use the dishpan and
dispose of the water.  Often if the next spot is vacant, or we can't dispose
of grey water on the ground, we will pour it down their sewer opening.
Works for us.
