I would never use it in my trailer and I would think that you would make any
dump station owner REALLY ticked off if you were to dump caustics or acids into
his/her tank. especially in a park.
instead, use the liquid plumber stuff. it seems to be quite benign but may not
be. if it is also caustic, just do what our parents and grandparents used to
do, use a snake and a big kettle of scalding water.
also, and finally, I am not too sure as you say, what caustics will do to the
tanks and fittings and gaskets, etc.... avoid strong chemicals of all kinds.
there is a lot of advice on this list and others which really runs contrary to
what we pushed back in the 60s and 70s when repairing and maintaining these
trailers when they were new.
