Your correct Mike.  If the plate is unreadable or missing the serial 
was also often stamped into the top of the A frame about where a snap 
up would go. You may have to sand off a few layers of paint to see 
it.  There also used to be a sticker on the inside the rooflocker 
over the fridge.

If it has a shower it is a 24 a bath tub means it is a 26'
