My apologies if this comment has been made elsewhere, but i just bought one 
of the 2000s, and will order another soon.....the question of which to buy 
was made very simple for me in the dealer's showroom....2 of the 2000s take 
up about the same space as the 3000, but there is no comparison in the 
protability of the two....the 2000 can be picked up and carried relatively 
easily while the 3000 is basically not portable by the average person.....and 
I might add that I work out regularly and still play basketball in my mid-50's,
so I'm not exactly out of shape.
