[A/S] Re: truck advice - new vs. classic, do i or don't i (lots of q's)

Thanks to some wonderfull grandfatherly advice by the owner of a FS

I own a 1973 W200 (four wheel drive) camper special, 360 V8,
Automatic, Long Wheel Base with which I tow my 1979 23' Safari. The
older the Dodge the more difficult it will be to locate, expecially in
any sort of condition to expect to use as a tow vehicle. You should
have the camper special (which means a D200 or W200) since it came
with the auxilary transmission cooler, heavy duty springs, alternator,
radiator etc. Don't expect the mileage of the new trucks or the
comfort (mine rides like a buckboard). But there is an mental
advantage to having a classic truck and a classis trailer.
