you can buy the thin plywood but back in the 60s, flame grain Mahogany was
somewhat available. rarely to be found today. If you can, you might try
cleaning it and staining it back to the original color in the places where it
has bleached out. Also, you might contact some of the rare wood places and see
if you can get some veneers and try replacing. your big problem is delamination
and for that reason, you want to put marine plywood in your trailer.
You will find that your boat store/chandler is a good source for a lot of stuff
in your trailer. as has been pointed out by Mr Tuna (real name unknown), you
will find that working latches on doors, grip cloth between plates and saucers,
bungee cords with small hooks in the closets (I keep my rifles bungeed into a
corner of one of my closets) and many other tricks and tips to keep stuff tied
down will be very necessary with the trailer. of course, always put your
TVs/sensitive electronics on the beds and pile stuff around them to keep them
from shifting around or being tossed onto the floor.

I have one cabinet in my '76 which is breaking away from the wall (fiberglass
breaking) which I have propped up with a couple of pieces of "decorative" 2"
white pvc pipe using that same skid proof stuff that is used to hold rugs in
place, between saucers, etc. I consider this to be a bad weakness of design.
The older trailers simply put an end panel from the floor to the ceiling to
support that cabinet. btw, this one is just as you enter the trailer over the
sink. I carry nothing in that cabinet now. wish the previous owner had had the
same insight.
