the newer rock guards are SSteel or aluminium and are mounted on both quarters
of the front of the trailer (iow, not across the entire front behind the tanks)
with 1"? standoffs.

are rather costly as I remember, about $450?? installed.
wish you had taken pix before you took the fiberglass off.
