Hi
Not at all. I have added an extra Electric fan to my vehicles over the years. 
They do not cancel each other out at all. I have a toggle switch for the 
electric inside and when on a steep grade or when the weather is very hot, I 
can switch the electric one on and watch the Temp go down.
