Chas,

Two things are somewhat unclear in your response. First, all the hitches under
discussion are "load equalizing hitches" that use spring bars for weight
distribution. Second, Elbert and I are talking
about an Equal-i-zer brand hitch not equalizer type hitches in general. To lump
the Equal-i-zer in with other good but perhaps less capable equalizer type
hitch is inappropriate. The Equal-i-zer
brand hitch ( http://www.equalizerhitch.com/ ) is deceptively simple in it's
design but very effective in it's execution of safe and simple towing.
