[A/S] Question re: replacing skin sections

Hello list,

I've got a '69 Overlander that's in really good shape, age considered. I do
have one dented section though, that although it has been pulled out, is a bit
too "crinkly" for me to live happily
with. I've stumbled across a wrecked airstream of the same model that has the
corresponding section intact (curved corner over rear bath streetside). I'm
tempted to try to salvage the old panel,
mostly because it's cheap and will probably match the weathering of the rest of
my trailer better than a new section. The salvage yard has said that I'm free
to cut out around the good section with
a reciprocating saw, rather than try to drill out rivets on-site.

Assuming that aluminum sections for an Overlander are still available, would it
be wiser to go with new, or try to use a used skin section? Has anyone tried
this? The thought has occurred to me
that the sealant at the seams may be so rigid that I might not be able to free
the old section without damaging it. Also--does anyone know the ballpark price
for new sections right now?
