Patricia for what its worth: like I mentioned in another post, I have 
had our Hensley on 5 trailers and each time I installed it, the strut 
bars work loose after the first time or two that I tow it. I have 
gotten into the habit of checking them about every time that we stop 
for fuel or whatever. They're not generally loose after everthing 
gets "settled in" but I check em any way. If they get too loose the 
trailer will tow really squirrelly.
