I presume you're talking about winterizing and keeping mice out?
That seems to be the only time we see droppings, is after winter
storage. They look like they come in, have a look around and not finding
anything interesting to eat, leave by the same hole they came in.
We are very scrupulous about cleaning up the trailer, washing out the
cupboards, not leaving anything around that could be considered food or
nesting material. Seems to work.
Had SOB park trailer for a few years, that was infested. (the Darling
Girl slipped into a sleeping bag one nite and said, feels like there's
rice in this bed---you guessed it.)
We got a 5 gallon pail, filled it half full of water, and smeared peanut
butter around the inside rim. We put a nice little ramp up from the
floor to the lip of the pail. When the mice "walked the plank" to
inspect the source of the smell of delicious Skippy, they leaned over to
sniff and fell into the pail. Now I know some animal activist is going
to squeak about cruelity to animals, but it was them or us...... I think
we got Mickey,  Minnie and all the little squeekers in about two weeks
except for one little guy who had a Red Cross Swimming badge......
