[A/S] FRS vs GMRS

We're considering picking up a pair of the Motorola 5420 FRS radios 
for communicating during hook-up, backing, etc.  That model has VOX 
for hands-free in the cab.  Anyone have any experience with these 
little radios?

Besides range, is there any other advantage to the more expensive 
GMRS radios, considering we'll have CB in the truck anyway?
