I don't have enough info on the batteries in the A/S to give you a 
good answer on that, but I can tell you the slower you charge the 
batteries, and the less you discharge them, the longer their life 
will be.  So I'm not sure more than 130 amps would be a good thing.  
An idle control that would let you get the engine idle speed up would 
help during those times you need to run the tow vehicle to charge.

Perhaps someone here with more boondocking experience can give you 
better advice on batteries.

I'm seriously thinking of at least one solar panel to help keep the 
charge up between hook-ups.  OTOH, one could have a Honda EU2000 for 
that much money.
