[A/S] Re: convert 3.73 to 4.10 axle

It isn't hard for someone who knows how to make the ring and pinion
teeth matchup.

With LT265/75R16 or LT235/85R16 tires, you should be running about 71
mph at 2,000 rpm. If you install 4.10 gears, your speedo will still
say 71 mph at 2,000 rpm, but you'll only be going 3.73/4.1 or 91% of
that, 64.6 mph... and when your odometer says you've gone 100 miles,
you'll have only gone 91.

If you get the speedo/odo corrected, you'll be turning 4.10/3.73
(110%) of the previous rpm... i.e. 2200 rpm at 71 mph.

4.10:1 would put 34.6" tall 315/75 tires almost exactly at the same
rpm as 3.73 with 31.6" tall 265/75 tires.
