One of mine stopped working and it sounds like the motor is free-wheeling. 
Is there a shear pin that might have sheared? Can I get to it from the 
outside or do I need to remove the unit?

Anybody know? Might be helpful to learn about it before I crawl under 
there. My AS manual pretends I don't have electric jacks...
