[A/S] 12V dimmers

Hi-

We're having a 1954 Airstream Cruiser rebuilt, and will be using a variety
of 12v lighting (halogen, xelogen, led).  I've been searching for dimmer
switches that work in pure 12vdc systems (that is, what our house batteries
will supply, NOT 12 volts that has been stepped down from 120vac with a
transformer).  I've found plenty of this latter type, but nothing I could
use with a strip of low wattage 12v halogen bulbs mounted under the overhead
storage units.

Has anyone already solved this?  Can anyone suggest a vendor for such
equipment?
