Joe, I believe that the 2000 model year was the first one for a slide 
in the classic Airstream trailer even though I managed to stumble 
across an '88 Argosy 5th wheel with an 8 ft. slide at the streetside 
rear and buy it recently. I plan on using it for a mobile office when 
I am on the road adjusting insurance claims.
