AJ, This is something I did myself before I started out this year. There are 
couple of glitches to be mindful of, 1- New shocks will need to have their 
bushings split, and removed from the shock, to ease in installation. The 
shock mount is close to the frame and makes it difficult to get them on the 
stud. In a couple of cases the mount needed to be gently pried away from the 
frame to be installed. 2- The nuts on the stud will be rusted fast. Using a 
good penetration oil and working the nuts back and forth as you back them off 
will reduce the chance of turning off the stud. Others have had success by 
splitting the nut and cleaning off the rust before putting on a new nut. 3- 
nut access is a bugger. Other than that it's not too bad. While mine was up I 
also repacked the bearings and adjusted the brakes. Make use of the trouble 
to jack it up and pull the wheels.
