I did this procedure this spring with my '78
ambassador.  It was very straight forward and easy. 
My univolt was under the table along the front.  I
removed the table so that I had some elbow room and
removed the univolt with no problems.  The hardest
part was physically getting it out as it is heavy and
it is in an awkward place.  Let me know if you want to
know the whole procedure.
