[A/S] Finally on the road

Well the day finally came today. After a month and a half of restvation (
part restore, part renovate) we took our 75 Argosy 26 foot out on the
road. Wasn't far, just out to the interstate, down one exit and then to
the scales and back home. Combined weight was 8700 pounds and it pulls
like a dream. Tuesday we take off for Marianne's family reunion close to
Pittsburgh and then on to the factory at Jackson and back home.

The changes went well, I've documented the Valve rebuild in this
forum. We also replaced the 70's shag carpet with Pergo in the front and
shell Berber carpet in the bedroom and bath. We also replaced the toilet
with an updated toilet. New Drapes all around (with black out cloth as
well as a new accordion door. Finally we recovered the front couch and
other cloth covered pieces.

We still have to install a furnace and replace the counter top but we can
live with them for this trip. All the appliances(other than the furnace)
work well.

One question: Will a Hott rod work in the water heater that came stock
with the trailer? Thanks
