[A/S] Choice of tires

Hi All,

I need tires for the Argosy that followed me home last week.  I believe they
are 700-15 and it's tandon.  Is there a consensus on the latest choice tire?
Is the Goodyear Marathon or Workhorse still acceptable - I believe both are
bias ply.

If I recall correctly, the gross weight is 4800 pounds and that might mean
that the tires could be rated at about 1800 and be 6 ply?  Or, should they
be more like 8 ply and 2450 pounds?

I haven't been on the list for some time.  Is Harvey Barlow still out there?
