Re: [A/S] tow vehicle choice

excellent advice
I have a 90 burb that now has a T400 (probably came out of a Sherman TAnk) after
I ate the electric tranny pulling the 31' SOUTH thru Raton Pass which I consider
one of the most difficult grades in the USA, on an interstate at any rate.
I ended up in 1st gear for a mile at about 20mph. A month later, it collapsed
in the middle of a rather busy street here in Houston.
Point is --
With gassers, there is NO substitute for Horsepower when it comes to pulling in
the West. That is why I am looking for an E350 with PSD, about a '99 as I hate
to pay depreciation.

am loving this discussion as we all have horror stories and brag stories.
somewhere betwixt and between, is the truth <G>

fwiw
