Hi Patti,

Don't know about the wiring, I had one installed on my 1994 and the wiring 
was nearby.

As for replacing a vent, they did that with mine, the FV was squarer than the 
original vent so they had to cut out all four corners.  If *I* were you I 
would let FV themselves install it. They are always running around somewhere. 
Call and ask if anyone is near you.

Make sure the trailer is as level as it can be....... level the fridge 
inside, then apply the new outside level.  I used the screws that came with 
mine.
