Hi  -

I'm planning to purchase a land yacht in the next year or so and am 
doing my homework.  I'm considering one powered by a Cummins 230 
diesel engine with an Allison transmission.  

Does anyone have any experience to know whether the 230 engine 
coupled with an Allison transmission is adequate?  Have you had or 
heard of any problems with this configuration?  I'll definitely be 
going up some steep hills.

Any thought on how the diesel compares to the gas engine?
