Our 1969 International Ambassador has *never* had the acrid smell of
formaldehyde which you can easily sense on a hot day inside a closed up
trailer.

If there is any formaldehyde things in your older unit it may be in things
like the foam mattresses and couch, etc.

Is there any way an air quality test can be done to find out exactly what is
in the air of your unit?  Possibly some environmental company somewhere can
give you guidance here.  There has to be a way to "sniff" the air and have
it analyzed.
