Re: [A/S] Water leak at door

If you don't know where the leak is coming from, and you don't, try pouring
some water colored with food coloring on the top seams of your trailer. The
water will wash off easily enough and won't discolor anything.

You may also want to pour this colored water over other places on top of
your trailer wherever you see sealant which may have a minute crack
somewhere along the line.

I have had trouble myself with leaks beginning at the big awning bracket (A
& E but a terrible installation which I later had to completely redo myself)
on the front of our trailer. You could *not see* the leak from the outside
BUT water dripped ever so slightly from the overlapped joint of an inside
ceiling/wall panel.

In my case I drilled out some of the interior pop rivets so I could then
actually *see* where the water leak began which was where the bracket for
the A & E awning was installed.

I like using blue or red food coloring to trace water leaks as it's easy to
see against most backgrounds.
