I have an 82 Excella and it has enough room in the trailer tongue 
storage box.   Normally you would keep your hitch stuff in the 
storage box, which is immediately behind the propane tanks in my 
unit. With a little arranging, I can fit three one pound gas cans 
there, and I feel better that they are not inside the trailer or the 
SUV.
