we, too, are looking at this "problem'., The best I've come up with is to have a front-mounted hitch receiver installed on the tow vehicle, to which is attached a bike carrier. Hitch receiver is about $95; bike carrier is about $100. Outside of that, carry the bikes inside the a/s. Jim
