Looking back over the history there are several visually significant points. 
While there was a significant change to the body structure in mid 1982 it is 
not readily apparent. The first (looking back) major change was the 
introduction of the 1969 model year with it's more curvaceous shell and the 
first use of 3 front windows. Further back was the change in 1957-58 from 13 
front segments to 7. Another step would be the late 40's early 50's changes 
from an oval to square front window, tube to ladder frame and the tapered 
ends to the flatter ends. Last but not least were the changes in
1935-36 from the composite skin to metal skin.
