I went this way but I think that Jim Greene just looped his chain thru the frame
opening behind the jack and then thru the hitch plate when he towed his
Tradewind home from Houston last year.  Jim??

be sure to get the heavy clevis(plural sp??) and consider the slide thru swing
wire lock to attach the chain to the truck hitch and to the trailer frame.
you are almost never going to need that sucker but I have a picture on this pc
from the PowerStroke elist showing a Chevy extended cap hanging over a cliff
with the trailer and a big bay boat on it still on the road, suspending that
truck supposedly by the hitch ball, I would better bet that the chains are
holding it and the guy in the passenger seat is doing a LOT of praying.  if
wanted, I can upload that photo to the photo page.
