If you think you are having a problem with an axle I would recommend
calling Airstream and discussing it with them.  I know of no one that
repairs/overhauls the axle assembly other than the manufacturers.  The
method of axle attachment is USUALLY by nut and bolt, some might be
welded.  Airstream is not the only manufacturer that uses this type of
axle, so there are many rv dealers that could properly
remove/install/align an axle.

The good news is that there is a low probability of having a bad axle
assembly.  It would take something like an accident or rough road travel
severely overloaded to cause damage.
