Before we get off this subject, one word of caution about the 12V thermal 
breakers. They are not all of the automatic reset variety. Some evil genius 
came up with another version that looks like the auto resets but isn't. 
Hidden on the end is a very small button, the same black color of the case 
that moves ever so slightly when the breaker trips. This button, hidden on 
the end the wire attaches has to be reset for the circuit to re-energize. 
Trust me it's there, behind the wire, and a pain for some of use fat 
fingered folks to get to.
