Re: [A/S] Generator choice ??

For planning purposes, a thousand Watts is eight Amps. Two 2kW units will
put out about 32 Amps which is plenty for an Airstream. One 2kW or two 1kW
would most likely run either the AC, or the trailer, but not both. This
depends on the current draw of the AC, which in turn is a question of age,
efficiency, outside air temp, etc. Unfortunately it is impossible to
parallel a EU 1000 with an EU 2000. That would put 3kW in a two piece
package weighing 28 and 43 pounds, instead of 1 package weighing 135.

Thinking of going for two of the 2kW. That way I can boonie in either
trailer, and still have AC by "borrowing" from the other one to power the
one I'm with. Besides, buying one at a time is less of a whack in the
wallet at a time.
