[A/S] Water Heater

This may seem like an odd question but has anyone on the list 
installed a regular home hot water heater on their airstream?  I 
recently acquired (was given) my Father's 1961 Safari.  I plan on 
putting it on a permanent camp site and need to replace the hot water 
heater and thought since mobility wasn't an issue, this would be an 
option.  My apologies to the purists.  Thanks for any help you can 
give me.
