[A/S] Home Depot Finds

Hi Gang,

Patti mentioning Home Depot made me remember to write about two finds.......

The first is they have a really cool clothes hamper. It's mesh, and has a 
metal sprongy frame. It's tall and thin, goes nicely through your shower door 
and fits the shower seat perfectly.  The price was about 7.00.  

The second is....... Let me start from the beginning....... One of the 
hardest things for me to part with when I decided to fulltime was my books. I 
had hundreds of horse and dog books, most from my childhood...... many quite 
valuable, but I could never sell them. So, I didn't. I wanted to find a 
little bookcase for them but unfortunately the catbox sits where I could fit 
one.  I do have a 12" wall between my fridge and the bathroom door though.... 
but try to find a 12" wide bookcase and make of oak too........

Well, while wandering the aisles of HD I saw *oak* put them together yourself 
 kitchen cabinets (no door)........ hmmmm...... 12"X12"X30"  (30" tall)  I 
bought one for 30.00 and put it together...... it's great!  Not perfect, got 
4 screws on top and sticks out a bit in the back, but a saw will fix 
that....... so, now I can enjoy my books........
