Re: [A/S] Rewiring the Bambi, "HOTSKIN"

Thanks Matt for answering so thoroughly. What I have bought is a plastic
panel box and 20-amp breakers with 12-2 w/ground. Perhaps I should go back
and get 15-amp breakers. I was not going to ground any part of my system to
the trailer at all. I did buy the extra ground bar to install in the panel
box. I had planned to hook the whites to the original ground bar, the
blacks to the breakers and the bares to the extra ground bar. I also
planned to jumper the two lugs to make 110 on all breaker lugs. I still
don't understand why you say to install a ground wire to the trailer or
frame. Wouldn't that still create a way to have a "hot skin" situation if
the ground wire and neutral were crossed in the source? Is there a reason I
need a good ground?
