 We don't throw them under the trailer. We put them inside in 
cabinets, under the couch, beds, etc,,any place a rodent could do 
damage.  We just pick them up in spring and use what's left to 
protect our snowmobiles. Some people may object to the lingering 
smell in the trailer, but it doesn't bother us and doesn't stay long.
