That is a good idea Jim,
I will secure a new one and get it on ASAP.

I figured the gas valves were expensive since it seems that only one
company makes them.
This one didn't last very long if it turns out to be bad.
I only used the heater on gas long enough for the warranty to run out. 
I replaced the water heater with a new one to try and get more hot water
but that was a bad idea since I got the same performance from both of
them. The old one was twenty five years old and worked fine and luckily I
still have it so I might just rob the valve off of it.
