Re: [A/S] inteli-power

Good to hear that- I am awaiting delivery of my unit. I ordered a
reconditioned one (fingers crossed). I have my '64 GT emptied out now, and
was just yesterday diagnosing & tracking various circuits. The circuit
breaker box was wired creatively: The main power in was routed backwards
through a 30 amp breaker as a main disconnect and for the Air Conditioner.
Then was a 12 g jumper over to the other breaker, a duplex 15 amp. From
there to the 110 volt circuits and the transformer, which is a GE. No
mention of it being a Univolt. Inside the transformer, was a schematic of
the two windings out, for 19V, which measured exactly 19V. The other was
labelled as 12.7, but measured about 12. I could not see any circuit that
went to the battery for charging, but most of this will be re-done anyway.
From the transformer, the 19 & 12 Volt circuits went up to an enclosure for
the "city power/battery power switches, and then to thermally protected
breaker/fuses, (whatever they are called). Polarity indicator light is
missing. Was it 110 volts? I am not sure yet how much of this will stay or
go yet.
I plan to add a single solar panel, for boondocking, with a modest inverter
on-board, all to a marine battery, so It might get tight in there.
