I just got this 79 soveregn I took the battery out  and left the power on 
today came home from work and went inside and the converter was not putting 
out 12 v  could the battery not being connected have killed it  it still 
humms but no juice its a triad  70 amp  or maybe the heat but it had no load 
on it     (tryin not to do this again)    Kenny
