Steve,
  The Camping World catalog has a picture of the C.W.; it's a little 
gadget with a pushbutton and an LED that has a 3 or 4 foot long cable 
and little plug to connect it to the I-P.

The C.W. turns the I-P into a 3-stage "smart charger" instead of a plain 
ol' fixed-voltage charger/converter. It sells for less than $30.00 and 
is well worth it, IMO.
