Welcome to the list..... just so you know you don't need to copy the orginal 
poster.... Terry in this case.  When you copy them they get the letter twice, 
once on the list and again directly. 

As for weights...... the trailer was originally desgined to be very 
light...... the newer it got, the heavier it got. They had gotten away from 
Wally Byam's original concept.... 

The "Classics" are the heavy one... then a few years ago Airstream decided to 
make a lighter trailer to appeal to people who didn't want to pay so much and 
so they could be towed with less tow vehicle..... such as SUVs.....

One thing to consider..... in 1973 Airstream introduced the grey waste tank 
to compliment the black tank..... before that grey water just drained on the 
ground. That could be a consideration.
