Hi Sally,

Jim's experience has been a familiar one for us, especially at CGs operated
by governmental units (county, regional, town, city, state, national parks).
Among such campgrounds, it usually occurs where registration includes
filling out an envelope at the gate and having one one to consult.

As a result, we blatantly ignore all indications of length restrictions when
it comes to parking our Airstream.  If we ever come face to face with being
unable to find a site, I'll either turn around or back out the same way I
drove in. In the meantime, we'll continue enjoying some of the nicest
campgrounds on the continent available to the general public.
