Hi Jon Great name! Originaly from NC here. It is not good to tow the trailer in OD. I have an e-350 van with same engine and pull a 31' Sovereign. I recomend an over/under drive like a Gear vender and add a heavy duty Trany cooler. I also redid my trany with a shift kit and 7 clutch instead of 5. Jon
